Welcome Guest Photographers to Waterfall Portraits!
Introduction from Nate: Resident Photographer and Owner
Welcome to Waterfall Portraits, a haven of natural beauty and photographic artistry! I'm Nate, the heart behind the lens and steward of this enchanting forest property. While I cherish capturing moments through my camera, I understand that variety is the spice of life. Clients may have established relationships with photographers whose style or rapport they prefer. That's why I'm open to collaborating with guest photographers to ensure every client's vision comes to life amidst the backdrop of cascading waterfalls, serene reflection pools, and blooming gardens.
Booking as a Guest Photographer: What You Need to Know
Reserving and Planning Your Session:
As a guest photographer, it's essential to coordinate with me in advance. Here's how the process works:
1. Client Coordination: Clients wishing to use their preferred photographer should first reserve the time slot with me and inform me about their choice to bring a guest photographer..
2. Photographer Approval: Guest photographers must reach out for an interview and orientation at least one week before the scheduled shoot. This is crucial to ensure compatibility and understanding of the property's unique features and guidelines.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. Pre-Session Approval: Make sure to arrange all details and fulfill requirements before the photography session. Insurance and other prerequisites might take a few days to set up.
2. Interview and Orientation: I conduct a brief phone interview with all new guest photographers. This helps me understand your style, discuss safety protocols, and plan an in-person orientation to familiarize you with the prime spots on the property.
3. Insurance and Fees: Guest photographers must add Waterfall Portraits as an additional insured on their policy. A usage fee for the location applies, which might be reflected in your session fee to the client.
Flexibility and Safety:
I reserve the right to decline any guest photographer post-interview if I feel they aren't compatible with the property's ethos or safety guidelines. Ensuring a safe and harmonious environment for creativity is paramount.
